I expected the Spurs to come out ready to dominate tonight. If the Suns are to steal one in SA it'll be in G4.

However, the Spurs need to push this lead in the final 5 minutes of the half and get it to 17-20, or else the Suns might have faith in the 2nd half.

Timmy makes the Spurs 1 for their last 8 FT attempts.

I'm not a Spurs fan...but does "most improved" not piss you guys off?

It's his 2nd freaking season(I think) and he wasn't bad last year.

I usually look at the MIP as a guy who's been established at a certain level, then makes a huge jump...not a 2nd year guy that showed promise in year 1 and exploded in year 2.

If I were a Spurs fan that'd annoy the hell out of me.

Spurs lack the killer instinct. 2 games in a row they've gone up 10-12 and let off the gas. Now we've got a hot Suns team that can put up 10 points in 2 minutes thinking they're still in the game.

Spurs have run out of energy and the Suns are just getting their's back.

How is grant hill owning manu? His shot has been off since his nose fouled dirk but he scored well in game 1 and almost had double digit assists in game 2.

Manu is also in double digits at halftime of this game

I'll give you that the nose is somewhat of a factor, but if you can't see how good Grant's defense has been on Manu this series, I can't help you escape your blindness.

It's not only his shot, Manu can't get in sync on offense before his shot. A lot of turnovers, forced passes, and quick passes that result in him disappearing from the offense.

as a non-partial observer, I see Manu as the cog to the Spurs offense. TD will get his, TP will get his.

The Spurs are based on Manu, and his effectiveness.

He's been frustrated for most of this series.

yes, he scored 10 in the first half, but he also struggled mightily in game 2, and has had a few key turnovers tonight, and removes himself from the offense early in possessions when HE needs to take control.

Again, I'm rooting for a good series because I respect both squads but don't like either. I think this has the potential to be a 7 game thriller, but Manu has to be THE MAN for that to happen. It can't simply be Timmeh's 28/10 and TP's 21/5 assists.

richard jefferson is absolutely worthless this game. he's settling for jumpers and is at this point 1-7. dude, there's a reason you're wide open. take the ball to the rack and get some freethrows.

Spurs will be fortunate if it's not a 4 game sweep.

Manu always forces passes; that's what can be frustrating with him sometimes. He does that against everyone.

manu is playing better when JRich is guarding him. I expect the Suns to make an adjustment to bring Grant back on him when they aren't in their junk zone.
