Time to focus my full attention on baseball season...

4 trophies have a way of cushioning the blow.

Congrats to the Suns and their fans.

Lots of changes are needed for the Spurs. After the series they know now that the can't hang with fast pace teams anymore. Sad but true!!

Need to re-tool the bench.
Need to go back to school on free throws and winning the rebound battles.
Need to get some 3 point shooting.
Need another Mario Ellie type player in the locker room.

GO SPURS GO!!

Tough season for the Spurs with some serious highs and lows. Glad we beat the Mavs, but we just ran into a buzzsaw.

Just when it looked like the Spurs would take the lead with a wide open bonner three, suns get a wide open rebound and nash buries a contested three.

There's just no beating these guys.

Yep, this was the Suns' series from the start.

I will be pulling for the Suns from here on out. I have to say I really understimated them coming into this series and I thought the Spurs would be whooping the same old No-D Phoenix team. They played with amazing determination to beat the Spurs. I really hope they are truly this good and can make a run at the title.

Spurs need an outside threat. Mario Elie, Stephen Jackson... I could go on all day. Championship teams have these guys. Jason Richardson is that guy right now. I sat here watching the game, and everytime the suns hit a clutch shot, I thought.... this was the Spurs in their 4 Championship runs. Suns are for real. It will take a few days to get over it, but I will root for them against the Lakers. Good for them. It feels good to get past your nemesis.

Oh, and Dudley and Channing Frye dont hurt either.

if the spurs had traded for Jackson instead of Jefferson things might have been diff-

spurs missed 15 free throws and 8 layups- you ain't gonna beat the fing nets playing like that

the mavs series was a war that took out Ginobli

The suns played lights out- if they even remember how to play basketball with a 7 day lay off I will be shocked

I will be very interested to see how the Suns play going forward. They could do no wrong against the spurs. Unfortunately, this Spurs team isn't built as solidly as some others and it showed big time.

I underestimated the Suns. It will be interesting to see if they can give the Lakers a run or if they just matched up well against the Spurs.
