yup. It's crazy to think that the reason the Lakers win in regulation is due to Kobe shooting such an awful shot.

However, J-Rich's bank shot was just as "awful" as far as the game.

Lakers have to feel unbelievably great.

Suns, on the other hand, can't feel too terribly bad...they need to win game 6, and have their bench show up in the 1st half of game 7.

Artest said he saw Kobe was fouled and knew the shot would go short...smart play. That's what you get with him - great plays and mind boggling dumb plays

Lakers get lucky again. Heck of a game though. Phoenix has to be going back home with a ton of confidence.

You could tell Kobe was pissed after the game while they were interviewing him since he air-balled that shot. But what the Suns couldn't do all game bit them the hardest right at the end...awesome game, but not what I wanted as the final score..and how bout Steve Nash? What a man.

That 3 with 23 seconds on the shot clock was a classic Artest shot, and one of the main reasons why I wasn't upset that he was leaving Houston. He pulled that crap all the f-ing time in the playoffs last year. Although that shot at the end certainly made up for it.

Well they had 3 quality looks at 3 pointers from 3 of their good shooters. The suns are going to normally hit at least one of those shots all the time. Kobe is not normally going to air ball the last second shot and it go straight into artest hands.

Great play by Artest, but the first thing I thought of when he said that was that Kobe wasn't fouled. The replays confirmed that nobody touched him. But since Artest anticipated the air ball either way, it doesn't matter.
