I'd really like to watch one finals game this year where the Refs didn't feel the need to completely alter the game early on with their calls.

That would be great.

Thanks in advance.

At least they got the replay rulings right in this game.

Game 2 was ridiculous with the ball clearly off Garnett.

Now comes a real ****ed part of the replay rules.

Rondo CLEARLY fouls Odom, like he does at least 5 times a game on those rebounds, but the Celtics get the ball.

Ridiculous.

I don't like that replay rule. There's no way a team should be rewarded the ball for fouling another player.

It amazes me how these idiot refs continue to fall for that ***** Gasol's flops. I wish we could institute soccer rules and start giving guys fouls for flopping.

B****ing about that flop after watching Big Baby & his 270 lbs falling to the ground on a Fisher layup is funny.

EVERY ****ing player in the NBA flops. EVERY one of them. It's not just the Euro's. That's a part of basketball, like it or not. Bryan Davis did as much as any college player over the last few years.

And Garnett did push him, he flopped to sell it, and Garnett does it too. Plus, they pretty much HAD to call that after having to give the ball to Boston when Rondo fouled Odom on the rebound.

this was actually a great call.

this was a makeup call since Rondo clearly fouled Odom, but the ball went off Odom. the foul isn't replayable, so they had to call it to odom. 10 seconds later....offense foul back to the lakers. good job by the refs in the 4th quarter tonight.

Wow. Kobe Bryant has fouled out of five games in his NBA career. I had no idea it was so many.

To me, falling backwards while stepping in front of someone coming full speed towards you to take a charge is different than flying to the ground arms flailing like a grenade went off next to you when you barely got touched. That's what the Euro players have gotten to be experts at and its complete bs. Kirilenko is definitely the worst, but Gasol is quickly moving up the ranks.

Exactly.

Guys, they've obviously missed a few calls over the first few games. But I don't think the officiating has played a decisive role in any of the outcomes.

Other than the Rondo foul/out of bounds, to me the worst call of the night was Big Baby's And 1, when Bynum didn't come within two feet of him.

Celtics have no one to blame but themselves for last night. They jacked up jumpshots and played lazy interior defense for most of the first quarter and let the Lakers get out to an early lead. Ray Allen couldn't hit anything. And they let Fisher drive coast to coast for a back breaking layup/And 1.

Similarly, the Lakers had no one to blame but themselves for Game 2.
