Would Jason Kidd be able to do what Fisher has not only tonight....but what he has done over his entire career in playoff games?

The reason I ask is that Jason Kidd fans would always point to Derek Fisher when I would tell them that Kidd was too crappy of a player to lead the Mavs to any sort of success in the playoffs,

Spot on. Fish won't get you there, but if you can get there in spite of him, you want him on the floor when its time to win a game.

Fisher has never "led" the Lakers in the playoffs.
