Dead at 47.

Spent a lot of time and money trying to help the Sudan.

Bol died at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, where he was being treated for severe kidney trouble and a painful skin condition

Seemed like a really solid individual, selfless to the point of keeping almost nothing for himself.
