Paul for Devin Harris and the #3. Wouldn't you do that if you're NO? You're not contending no matter what, Collison put up 18-3-8 w/ 47%/40%/85% as a rookie starter. Harris should command a solid return either before the season or at the deadline.

You can take Favors/Cousins at #3 and the best SG/SF at #11 (Hayward/George/Anderson} or Wes Johnson/Turner and the best available big (Aldrich/Udoh/Davis) at #11. Paul is leaving when he's an FA anyway.

Maybe they are thinking they can get more value for him. But yes, I think I would have done that deal if I were NO.

Funny that NJ is trying to ship Harris now that Avery Johnson is their coach. I think Harris and AJ must not get along, at all.

Devin Harris is a pretty average PG with inflated and pretty inefficient numbers from being on a bad team. Seeing as the Hornets have Collison (Harris wouldn't start ahead of him) and are in a bad financial situation, I don't see why they'd want to add Devin Harris and his $9MM salary to be a good 6th or 7th man. It makes no sense to New Orleans.

I think NO will want to give up Posey, Peja, or some other ridiculous contract to go along with CP3. Also, they probably don't want a meaningful PG in return if they believe in Collison.

Also, I think Collison's numbers are inflated because of the offensive system they run.

If no other teams are willing to take on a bad contract, this could be setting up for a huge trade deadline move in February.

Sell the tickets to NO fans with CP3, if they aren't in contention shed the salary.
