Although no one really ever knows what Daryl "Money" Morey will ever do, its fun to speculate! Today the Rockets offered qualifying offers to Scola and Lowry allowing them to match any offers that they receive on the open market.
We also have the MLE to use. I think we will use that on a back up center. Someone who is a strong defender or rebounder.
As far as free agency goes I clearly see Bosh as Morey's #1 target and expect him and the caravan of Red Rowdies to be ready to pitch him first thing in the morning if not at midnight! If he does come to Houston it will probably be in a sign-and-trade senario so he gets max dollars. In this senario I could see a package of:
Patrick Patterson or Jordan Hill, Jared Jeffries and Knicks 2011 1st Round Pick.
That would give us a squad of:
Brooks, Lowry
Martin, Taylor, Budinger
Ariza, Battier, Budinger
Bosh, Scola
Yao, Hill, MLE, Hayes
If that doesnt happen I am really getting exited about the thought of Carmello Anthony. Think of a sign and trade with the Nuggets including:
Patrick Patterson, Trevor Ariza, Budinger, and Knicks 2011 1st Round Pick.
That would leave us with a rotation of:

Martin, Taylor
Carmello, Battier
Scola, Hill
Yao, MLE, Hill, Hayes
