Carlisle is currently courting Haywood, looks like Mavs have made him a priority.

The Mavs still like Gortat, & Orlando drafted Daniel Orton so they might actually let Gortat go this offseason. A trade with the Magic might have to involve a 3rd team, could get complicated & a little tricky.

Mavs like Al Jefferson, but I think they view him as a backup plan if other options don't materialize. I like his ability to get easy buckets, but injury & his defensive shortcomings worry me.

Tyson Chandler is not opting out, so he's off the table. Not a huge fan anyway, unless we got him for cheap.

Shaq still says he loves Dallas. However, I wonder if that has to do with Shaq thinking Cuban will still throw big money at him, which he won't. Certainly wouldn't wanna S&T Haywood for Shaq either unless a certain LeBron guy is somehow involved in the deal ;-)

I didn't know the Mav's put a center in their lineup. They've played so long without one, I'm surprised they even know what that position is.....

Al Jefferson would be an outstanding pickup for almost any team.

Damp's a huge joke, and deservedly so, but I really wouldn't mind hanging on to him if he were to be traded away and cut by his new team.
