i actually dont disagree with this at all. he was going to get a max contract from a few teams, so you have to match

giving someone 5 years 96 million is a lot less of a burden than the 6 years 120 million

johnson was going to get the max contract and the hawks wanted to keep him, so they had to do it. it's not like this guy sucks
