no. this would be going around the salary restrictions. this kinda stuff is not allowed or other team's would be supplementing a crapton of stuff to avoid the salary cap issues.

Dwight Howard is one of the reasons you don't need post D in the East.

Guys like Amare Stoudemire are the reason Dwight Howard can score 30 points without a dsicernable move on offense.

He gets rebounds because he camps under the basket and is 6-10. 260, not because of technique or effort. Hell he has a lot 3-4 Rebound games and Steve Nash out rebounds many a night. If he cared he could be a 15-19 average rebounded.
His playoff average drops to 6 Rs a game; not exactly what I call a champ rising to the occasion.
