4y15mm for a PG, who averaged 7&5 playing for DAntoni while shooting 38%? Great job, guys.

The money is fine, right around $4 million, but why would they give him 4 years. That's the part that doesn't make sense.

4mm/year is WAY overpaying for someone that is an alcoholic, can't shoot and couldn't get great stats in Mike DAntoni's system.

I'm trying to see what cheap free agent point guards would have been a better pick up, and I'm not sure who would have been a better pick up. I think I would have gone with Kyle Lowry first. I don't think you could have gotten Raymond Felton for that. Either way, I would hate give Duhon a multi-year deal like that.

Maybe Randy Foye.

I think it's overpaying, but not by alot. I mean Shaq is getting offers for the whole mid level exception and he was washed up two years ago. So to get a decent PG 4 million isn't too bad, however that's not a bad price for a two year contract, but for 4 years at $4 million per, I think that's excessive.

Lowry is restricted, and the Rockets are going to match whatever is thrown at him.

Otherwise he would be getting a ton more interest.

I also think that Duhon's strengths do not mesh with D'Antoni's system. I think he'll be decent as a backup PG the next few years in Orlando but by year 3 they will really be regretting it.
