Of course I am upset, but Miami is Wade's team. If James is so concerned with building his "brand" he would go somewhere where he could win titles and still be The Man. That is not the case in Miami.

That Lebrons is not going to Miami, or that he is not concerned with building his brand?

Yesterday it was Wade not going to Chicago meant he didn't care about his kids. Now it is Lebron is bowing down to Wade if he follows him to Miami.

thats not a fair comparison. a-rod didnt choose to go to the yankees outright. sure he was traded there, but that's not the same. Besides, a-rod was the best shortstop in the league when he got traded to the yankees.

This lebron thing is very similar to what marian hossa did in hockey. He kept on piggy backing the best teams in the league the past 3 years, trying to win a ring, and he finally won on.

Oh and speaking of a-rod, without him and his historic october, jeter doesnt win a 5th ring

I don't think the Arod:Jeter analogy applies because baseball and basketball are too different. No one looks at the 09 Yankees and says that was Arod and Jeter's title. Baseball is 25. In basketball, the individual counts for alot more.

I have little doubt that history will reflect on inevitable Heat championships and Lebron AND Wade's. The question for me is: Is that what both of them want? Maybe it is. Who knows. But I think the best example in recent history is Kobe and Shaq. They were successful, but Kobe eventually wanted his own titles. I'll have my popcorn ready.

Wade already has a Finals MVP (along with a title). Everything else from here on out is gravy for him.

I was talking more about Lebron.

I think that's exactly the reason why I, among others, thought Lebron to Miami wouldn't happen.
