I can't imagine what his first trip back to Cleveland will be like. He needs to move his family out by, well yesterday. It will not be pretty. That is a crazy rabid fanbase, and the area has been hit hard economically lately. The crazies will be coming out of the woodwork. They better have some serious security ready for that game

Yeah, and 2 of those 3 players have yet to play an entire season without missing games due to injury.

Outside of Bosh's 2nd year, he's averaged over 10 games missed a season.

And they will all have to play 42+ mins a game.

How is this different than when the big three were put together in Boston? It'll work out. Some guys will take paycuts just to be part of the team. They'll be so good, they won't need very much from the rest of the roster.

Nobody has a problem with that.

Alot of people have a problem with how he handled it - mainly with respect to basically putting on a show in his hometown to dump them.

This situation is a little bit different in that there's a lot of money to be had this season as opposed to the summer of 07 so you won't have as many players willing to take year or 2 paycuts. But I mostly agree. I don't think they'd top the Lakers this season, but give it about a season of building their roster and they'll be salty. By talent alone, they'll win multiple rings together.

As argued on the other thread. The Boston 3 all had different games. Lebron & Wade are pretty interchangeable for the most part. Boston had Rondo, who even as a 2nd year guy gave them 10, 4 & 7 assists in the 08 playoffs. They had 3 All Stars & another good player that all gave something different.

Miami has way too many holes right now that they still have to fill and most of the guys that fill those roles best aren't going to want to play for shat pay since they don't get endorsement money & need to get all the money they can while they can.

They're in the east. They can still suck and make the playoffs. All they need to do is stay realatively healthy.

Injuries won't stop the Heat from losing any more than they'd lose in another situation. It's a part of the game. At least if 1 super star goes down, there are 2 to pick pu the slack. What team has that luxury.

And again, as on the other thread, Chalmers isn't going into his 2nd year. By Rondo's 3rd year he damn sure WAS considered better than Chalmers who regressed this past year.

The East has gotten better, they won't be able to pull a Boston from this year.

If Bosh misses the 11 games he's averaged the past 5 seasons they will not be a lock for a top 1 or 2 seed, and if Wade is gimpy for any period of time they could be in a fight for a 3 or even 4 seed.

By Rondo's third year, he was playing with 3 all-stars, making a point guard's job pretty damn easy. He could probe the paint all he wnated, because Pierce and Allen and Garnett stretched the floor so well and commanded so much defensive attention.

I cant wait to see all the little asian kids in China throw away their Yao jerseys for a number 6 Miami Heat jersey. Sorry Houston.
