Splitter looks real good in the 1st quarter. 6 points & a nice block to close the quarter. Brazil is unconscious from the field so far.

He's impressive. GREAT on the pick n roll. He and Ginobili should give teams fits.

In the clips I've seen of him, he is a better-than-average help defender but he doesn't get a lot of blocks.

Sounds like a newer version of Fab Oberto to me.

Passing and basketball IQ are his best traits. He's a much better pick and roll player than Fab and has a much more polished post game. Not explosive by any means, but can run the floor fairly well. I wish he was a stronger rebounder though.

The US team had to account for him & adjusted their matchups because of him. NO ONE ever did that because of Oberto.

He's also quite a bit bigger than Fab. IMO, he looks better than anyone the Spurs have had playing next to Duncan since Dave. He appears to be a mobile big man with good size and very good basketball IQ. Offensively, he's not going to be a goto scorer but he can catch and finish off the pick and roll and that's huge.

I think he's going to be a very nice addition. They're still not going to beat the Lakers but nobody is.
