Lot of love for Law in the comments section. I always thought he could be a Derick Fisher type. Not supremely talented, but smart, hardworking, and CLUTCH.

Acie Law IV has not done real well, and I would say the writing is on the wall that he doesn't make Christmas with the team. I cringe when I see him on the floor, and as a Grizz fan, that is saying a lot.

Grizz bringing in a couple of PGs to work out, including former Spurs sub Garrett Temple, claiming "nothing to see here".

This season, Acie is 3-18 & 0-6 from 3 point land. He has 14 assists to 10 TOs. 4 steals.

Those stats are flat out bad. I wish it wasn't so, but he just doesn't seem to have the right skillset for the NBA.

Reportedly, Law walked away with $500,000. Before being supplanted by rookie Greivis Vasquez as the backup point guard, Law appeared in 11 games. He struggled through 16-percent shooting and averaged 1.3 assists in 8.5 minutes.

That's probably about it for his career. I don't see him making another squad with his numbers. He's just not a good NBA player. Too bad, but he made a few million and it was a good ride while it lasted

If he was smart about the money he could retire, and live a comfortable life playing golf and fiddling around with his hobbies.

I wish him all the best but I'll stop short of feeling sorry for him. If he really wants to play basketball he could probably catch on with some European team.
