So easy to tell Cleveland fans to just get over it. I'm sure most fans at this point have accepted it, but you cant blame their fans for the bitterness towards him.

Its about the closest thing they'll get to an apology.

He is incredibly into himself for having nothing to show for his talents.

I'm sick of his act and how he is looking for pity now. Just shut up and play basketball. The new commercial is trash. Face it, nobody really cares about you that much because you haven't won when it counts, you gave up when it mattered the most.

I think it was a well done commercial by Nike.

LeBron needs to take a note from MJ and let Nike and his play do the talking. Nike knows how to market, LBJ and his posse don't.

Nike and winning will solve a lot of problems. See Kobe Bryant.

This pretty much sums it up. Why do you need your friends to tell you what is right and wrong? And I'm not talking about leaving Cleveland. I'm talking about the way he did it.
Lebron James is great basketball player, but by my account he is a pretty lousy person. He had every right to go wherever he wanted to go, but that's not the point. The point is you have to treat people with respect, and he disrespected his team, the owner, the fans, etc. when he turned his free agency into a circus and had a 1-hour "screw you Cleveland" television show.

That's one way to look at it. Again, I could care less about his financials or business obligations. I'm talking about him as "The Chosen One" he claims to be for the game of basketball. If he shows he can win games when they count the most, his reputation changes overnight. Kobe raped a girl in a hotel. He shut up, and won games when they mattered. Nobody cares about it anymore.

I thought the commercial was just a bunch of nothing. I really didn't understand the point. It's like he was saying "Gimme a break about the mistakes in the past", but I want to do a commercial about it, too. And let me make fun of some of the people that criticize my "decision". I have always liked Bron, but he just can't let this go.

I would agree except I don't think anyone (except the Cavs owner) is complaining because he left Cleveland. They are complaining because of the circus act his career has become lately. He's just got to have his selection show, the chip on his shoulder, the crybaby commercial he just put out, sniping at critics, and then to top it all off he blames negative backlash on racism.

Big Lebron fan. I don't root for his teams, but I love watching him play. I love the hate for him, reminds me of the hate for Jordan. Granted, most of Jordan's hate came from his cockiness and 6 titles.

And the commercial has Kenny Powers dad in it.

I don't understand why everyone thinks LeBron was such a ***** during his announcement. I thought it was cool he let himself be heard and understood, even if it was somewhat self-centered. But most professional athletes have some degree of that. While he did it, he raised some money for charity - so to me it's a wash.

LeBron isn't the perfect person and neither are you. Maybe he regrets the announcement, maybe not. I don't care. Most of these posts have to do with self righteousness and jealousy. Get over it.
