What's up with the Rockets?

Meh.... There's 77 games left & ags beat OU

Houston is not very good this year. I'm a little disappointed that it took OT to beat them.

a bunch of starters went down and spurs let off the gas. it happens. spurs beat writer said if luis scola had gone down, the spurs would've lost!

We are actually pretty good. We have lead going into the fourth quarter most games. We just cant figure out how to close out.

Not being able to close isn't the sign of a good team. Neither is 1-5.

Maybe they'll turn it around, but the little I've seen has been pretty terrible basketball.

The few minutes I've watched of the Rockets they didn't look like a good team. They can score until the other team Ds up in the fourth and they get picked apart on defense.

But you are right, in spite of your ridiculous slurs comment. There is a lot of basketball to be played and Adelman isn't a bad coach even if he doesn't have much to work with in terms of players.

As a side note, I would be shocked if you haven't been talking trash about the Spurs early every year since they usually start slow.

I'm asking because I haven't seen more than 5 minutes of Rockets play this year, but is part of the problem Yao's minutes. It seems like it would be two different philosophies when he is in there and when he's not.

Xlaggie continues to prove why he's the worst poster on Texags, and it isn't close. Let me get this straight...you're trying to claim the Rockets are decent this year by claiming they took an "old ass" team to OT? At least try not to put down the opponent you lost to if you're trying to prove your team isn't that bad.

I dont understand the hate from Spurs fans. Its always been a friendly rivalry.

Is there any real hate on this thread (outside of XIaggie?).

I don't feel like Houston is going to be good this year, but I would be mildly happy if they do get it turned around.
