Somebody needs to tell ESPN that the Spurs are 15-2 and Timmy had a triple-double, because they don't seem to know anything about it.

Same thing every year. I don't give a crap about national attention or espn highlights. Come playoff time, people will fear the Spurs.

It's kinda funny to see ESPN run from the Spurs--absolute worst possible scenario from their standpoint. All set for 82 games of droolage over the Heat's invincibility only for the freaking Spurs to resurrect themselves for the umpteenth time?

Gotta be frustrating lol. Keep it up, San Antonio!

big market news outlets don't want to report on small market stories, that's just how it goes

Hey, last night Tim Legler said he was finally convinced that the Spurs are a contender this year. Marc Stein put them number one in his power poll. Stein is a Dallas guy though and always gives the Spurs props.

The most impressive thing about Timmy's triple double last night was he did it in 33 minutes. Not bad.

I remember during Game 6 of the 2003 Finals when Timmy was 2 blocks shy of a Quad Double.....

We have been so blessed as Spurs fans this past decade to have such an amazing team.

BUT THE LAKERS HAVE LOST 4 IN A ROW!!!!!

OMG OMG OMG.... **ESPN**

I am a Spurs fan and I am content with the Spurs taking a back seat to everyone else for now. The will get the attention in the playoffs.

Even with the strong run at the beginning of the season, you have to admit this: if both teams meet in the playoffs, and both teams bring their "A" game, the Lakers are clear-cut favorites.

I don't care if the Spurs win 72 and the Lakers struggle to 50. The Lakers are constructed to dominate the playoffs. With Bonner seeing major minutes and Udoka likely to be involved in any playoff run, the Spurs will once again be devoid of the offensive punch to compete with LA.

Just my opinion. Unless the Spurs can make a trade for a stronger defensive presence inside than McDyess, and a stronger wing defender than Udoka/Hill, they will struggle to get stops when it counts.

I'm loving this run though.

Hello, welcome to a very specific thread about one game from one player on the Spurs. Why are you talking about the Lakers?
