Best regular season game by far this year. Awesome crowd, awesome ending, and the knicks are back! I'm no knicks fan, but it's good for basketball when the Knicks are relevant.

That would have been pretty cool if amare would have got that shot off a little sooner...

.4 seconds is long enough for Derek Fisher to dribble, pump-fake, pivot, and shoot.... but not long enough for Amare to catch & shoot.

I definitely agree that the Celtics are the Kings of Overreaction. Pierce and Garnett are tools.

What irks me about all the replay that has pervaded our sports is that they go millisecond by millisecond to discount Amare's shot but just moments earlier they were ok with an extra .2 of a second running off the clock after a made basket. If you're going to have replay don't use it in such an illogical fashion.
I think they can review those situations and put 0.6 on the clock, but I could be wrong

Compare Paul Pierce running around in circles like a lunatic after hitting the game winner and then bowing to the opposing crowd to Ginobili's reaction after hitting his buzzer beater.

Just watched the Ginobili shot again. Every single Spur player fist pumped for about 5 seconds and then walked off the court steel-faced, with a "screw it we've been there before" attitude.
You won't see Ginobili/Parker/Duncan going all stupid over a single buzzer beating shot 1/4 of the way into the season.

Balls.
