He's tried so hard making his "next move" as exciting as Lebron James's new contract ordeal. Though he puts up crazy numbers...hes not Lebron James. No one other than Denver fans and yankees on the east coast care where hes going. Or am I wrong?

The most annoying part is that you know he's not going to make the best basketball move. It's all about going to the cool place or the place where he can make the most money. If he really cared about his legacy, he'd go somewhere like the Bulls or Clips.

The Bulls... maybe. The Clips? No. That team is historically so poorly run. They look sexy right now, but give it time... they'll crumble somehow.

The Clippers with Gordon, Melo, Griffen, DeAndre could not be messed up by even Donald Sterling.

Until he hates life surrounding his payroll and decides to blow the whole thing up. He's done it before... he'll do it again. Not to mention, you'll still be the B team to the Lakers in Southern California when yet another 'big 3' led by Dwight Howard decide the Lakers are the place to be.

Never under-estimate the ineptitude and general unwillingness of a terrible owner in the NBA to deteriorate a great team or set of great player assets quickly.

With the potential CBA changes looming, Carmelo has lot a lot of leverage. Because of that, him going somewhere other than New York wouldn't shock me.

I respect the guy. He played his heart out for Team USA back when it wasn't cool. He gets a pass from me, for now.
