he's got nothing left (did he ever have anything) on the defensive end, but I guess it's nice to have another shooter.

No reason he can't make his way back to being a solid contributor. He's not Caron Butler, but he's also not far off if he's on top of his game.

Peja hasn't been on top of his game in 3 years. Why would he all of a sudden regain form now? That kind of thing just rarely happens and I dont expect it. But I guess its worth the gamble.

I didn't mean "height of his career". I meant healthy and playing with confidence. Peja's best days are behind him but he could still be a vital piece of a championship roster.

He'll make a living sitting in the corner when Dirk has the ball at elbow.

sorry. this hurts to say as a huge mavs fan but i have to ask wth donnie nelson is doing.

we go after guys with their aarp card whose best days were 3-4 years ago. we do this consistently. the only one that actually worked out was nick van exel.

He's Brian Cardinal without the scrappy defense and hustle.

Current starter at the 3 was unemployed 2 weeks ago. Marion would be the best to start there, but then the bench sucks even worse than it does right now.
