since the first time they faced lebron this season, they are 1-30. i mean we all knew they would fall...but this far?? although this does make dan gilbert's post-decision rants that much funnier...

I still believe they will win a title before Lebron!

/sarcasm.

The Cavs should be an NBDL team.

Labron is a great player but there is no player so good that him leaving turns the record from the best in the league to the worst. Labron apparently took their heart with him to South Beach.

Agreed yet it is still ridiculous to claim that his Cavs teams were an adequate supporting cast to win a title with and the depths that that team has fallen this season more then proves that.

Clearly, LBJ is a great player, but this Cavs team isn't quite the same team that LeBron played with.

Top 8 players from last year's Cavs team (total min).
1. LBJ (Heat)
2. Mo Williams (has missed about one-third of season with injury, and already more than all last season)
3. Anthony Parker (has missed 6 games with injury, more than he missed all last season)
4. Varejao (has missed about one-third of season with injury and will miss remainder of season, more than he missed all last season).
5. Hickson (has missed 3 games, but more than he missed all last season)
6. West (Celtics)
7. Big Z (Heat)
8. Shaq (Celtics)

(Note: Antawn Jamison was 3rd in mpg, and has missed 3 games).

However, that supporting cast helped LBJ win 37 of 48 games, whereas his supporting cast this year has only won 34 of 48 games.

Yea but I doubt anyone will argue that wade and bosh are a worse supporting cast than his old Cavs.

Well, they are in the books now...longest single-season losing streak in NBA history after losing to Portland tonight.

24 straight.

They've won once since the start of December.

If they lose their next 3 (@ Dallas, Detroit, LA Clippers), there will be a battle of the "resistible object meets the movable force" on February 13 when they host the Wizards, who are winless on the road.

well the heat are obviously a lot better than they were during the first 15-20 games of the season, and i'd say this year's heat are a lot better than last year's cavs
