just watched it over lunch and the "other guy" just brought up the point about the Fredette kid that if he was black, people would be talking about how great he was vs. another white "hope".

Guy is a lot like Redick and Curry, undersized and can fill it up better than anyone... but he's smaller than both of those guys.

Haven't seen much of him other than highlights. Is better at creating his own shot than Reddick or does he depend on a lot of off-the-ball screens to get open shots?

Sure he would be. He's basically posting up an identical season to Stephan Curry who was a media darling during his senior season. Guy was leading the country in scoring, had some big shots at the end of games, and led an intriguing mid-major which was ranked.

Difference between Curry and Jimmer is Curry took his mid major to an elite 8 the season before. That's why Curry got so much attention his last season at Davidson vs. what Jimmer gets now.

i've only seen him play twice, but it's a mix of both. he moves well without the ball, and when he does have the rock, he's got a decent little jab step and jumper. he's also not afraid to take a 25 foot shot, either.
