Why give up a first rounder for a guy you arent even going to play? And on a team thats going nowehere. I am baffled at why he continues to get no playing time.

Maybe Morey had a computer glitch that said Terrence Williams was a perennial all star, and when they fixed the glitch, they realized he was a titty baby with no work ethic.

In all seriousness though, it really is strange; it seems like the SFs with a do-it-all game/mentality (Earl Clark, Williams, Lamar Odom, etc) have a really hard time adapting their games to the NBA. Elite level talents w/ a do it all game are great; but, you want your role players to be exactly that, ROLE players. When you have a guy who isn't one of your top options, it's hard to clearly define a role for them, and as a young player finding their way, especially if they have "attitude" problems, that can get in the way.

With all of that said, I think Williams will eventually be a good player. Just hope they're developing him this season and look to the future. The Rockets have a ton of young guys, and the more young guys w/ potential you have, the more likely you are to find a diamond in the rough.

just another example of a problem created by morey's stockpiling of "assets". and that's why he needs to move some of those assets before the deadline to thin out the roster a bit.

i'd love to see some deals that free up some minutes for both williams and courtney lee.

Courtney Lee is the one player off the Rockets I would love to have on the Spurs. Rocket should trade him for a 2nd rounder just to make up for the Scola fleecing. Heck, I'd give up Neal for him. Having a good defender that can knock down the three, and start at SG, letting up bring Manu off the bench would be sick.

Lee would be a fantastic player on the right team. He would be perfect on the Spurs or Orlando. He just isn't needed in Houston.

I read that we cant trade him in any deal that includes another player...that seems kind of odd, but it says that we def didnt acquire him as any type of trade piece. i agree with everyone else, im ready to see Morey make a move. too many good pieces sitting around waiting/needing to be traded

It has been reported that the Celtics are looking for a SF.

We have 3. They would love Battier, but Im sure they would take Buddinger or Williams also. We could get some decent talent from them.. possibly even the center we have been wanting. I dont think I would want Glen Davis, but I would love to have Kendrick Perkins. He would be a monster on our team.

Starting to look like Rockets won't be pulling off any good trades. This offseason is terrible too for acquiring decent players.
