That's insanely idiotic, but it is what it is.

The Nuggets just made themselves an awesome deal assuming Melo signs off on it. They are getting all those guys plus draft picks instead of nothing if he leaves after the season.

I just can't see a guy like Melo wanting to play for the Nets.

Of course by the time I finish writing this, Carmello may have signed that deal, but I'm not sure that he will sign off on that deal because the Nets will be a shell of a team that hopes that some strong free agents sign there because they aren't going to be getting any good young players if they are giving up Favors and all those draft picks.
