No idea who the Rox would give up for Flynn, who has been quite a disappointment. Could be a solid back-up for Lowry, but only in the event that Brooks gets dealt.

flynn does nothing for me. he's an undersized, shoot-first PG who doesn't play good defense, but we already have a better version of that with brooks.

if brooks is gone, i'd rather have ish smith backing up lowry than flynn.

Rather get Ricky Rubio rights. Is he seriously ever going to play there?

rubio has not been playing all that well this season, but i have a feeling minnesota's asking price is still pretty damn high.

i doubt he ever plays for them, but i'm not 100% sure he'd play for the rockets either. seems like his agent was trying to force his way to one of the bigger market teams.

he's obviously still young and i'd prefer him to johnny flynn, but i don't think you have any guarantee he ever suits up in a rockets' uniform either.

Brooks for Flynn makes no sense and is a huge downgrade.

If that's all the Rockets do, that is a huge disappointment.

Maybe Simmons has been pimping Dork Elvis so much that the other GMs dont want to be on the other end of a trade and look like an ass.

some writer said it was purely a "character/chemistry" move...that even though brooks is the better player (right now), flynn is a better teammate and would have no problem backing up lowry.

so maybe the brooks thing has been worse than reported? either way, i can't imagine it has been so bad that you have to dump the guy, which is basically what i'd consider this deal.

there's apparently still some discussions about picks, so let's wait and see what else the rockets are getting before killing it. but yeah, there'd be no way to spin a straight-up swap of brooks for flynn as anything but a collossal fail.

Rumor about Jared Jeffries maybe being a part of the deal.

rockets have renewed talks with portland about camby. initial talks involved brooks and battier.

would be a great short-term move, but obviously not a long-term solution.

i'd do this deal in a heartbeat.

We need to think about the future. Not the short term if Camby talks are true.
