Several players skipped practice today in protest.

I wish I could become a multi-millionaire by playing a sport and then whine like my life is terrible because I don't like the coach.

I hope they buy out Rip. He'd look good in a Bulls uniform for the stretch run.

This will be a reason for non-guaranteed contracts.

Coach benched all who participated in the mutiny. Only 6 players logged minutes. Glad to see the coach not giving in to the divas.

Really? Care to tell us how the rest of the CBA negotiations turn out?

I would say that the owners will get non-guaranteed contracts before they get a hard salary cap.

I blame Mubarak and Gadhafi.

P.S. There WILL BE non-guaranteed contracts in the next CBA. Most of the league's teams are losing money and this is a big part of the problem.

Little used guard Wil Bynum started and played all 48 minutes. He lead the team in scoring with 29 points, and he added 5 boards and 6 assists. After the game, he said, "“I sat and got DNP’s for a month and a half, you think I was turning down 48 minutes? I ain’t crazy.”

McGrady out with a headache. He's quit even trying to cover up his laziness.

I doubt it.

There might be some sort of opt out clause to get out of bad contracts in a new CBA....but the NBA players union would never agree to non guaranteed contracts like they have in the NFL.

NBA and MLB players union are much stronger then the NFLPA.

I like to think there are just a lot fewer coochie-scratching divas in football, but that's just me.
