2 or 3 seed makes no significant difference. 2 and 3 play each other in round 2

lakers clearly need this win as a confidence boost. spurs have the #1 seed all but locked up. this game helps the lakers a hell of a lot more than it hurts the spurs.

Spurs can't get a roll right now, and the Lakers misses are all back iron for long rebounds. It'll turn some in the second quarter, lots of game left.
If the spurs don't cut it to 10 by halftime, I see Pop resting the guys early in the third. Least we'll get some well-earned rest.
