Don't deserve to win games where you give up 41 points in one quarter, even if you feel like they were getting all the breaks. Good teams make their own breaks. Also, what terrible thing happened to zach randolph in dallas, because he plays like an mvp everytime against us.

Spurs fans are still worried about choking away the 1 seed? You realize what it takes to overtake a 5 game lead when both teams are playing at a 60+ win pace?

No kidding. That was an incredible game-winning shot. It was snow-capped when it came down.

I'm seeing 13 as the Magic number for the Spurs to clinch HCA in the West...that might be wrong though.

Why do Rockets fans even want to limp into the Playoffs as an 8 seed? The Rockets suck and have 0% chance of doing anything in the Playoffs. Why wouldn't you just hope for a good lottery pick?

I think financially, it makes a big positive impact to make the playoffs, even if all they get are two home games (but two games against the Spurs, Lakers, or Mavs).

They will probably be drafting around 14-16 anyways.

Magic number should be 15 with a 5 game lead (loss column) and 19 games left. Maybe 14 if tie breaker goes to Spurs.

I'm surprised that the Mavs hit a bad slump with Dirk injured, and during a great season for the Spurs the Mavs are where they are. At this point I'm just hoping the Mavs can maintain 2nd place.

Looking at the remaining schedules for the Mav's and Spurs I just don't see how the Mav's can catch them. Both have a relatively easy schedule down the stretch. I figure the Mavs would only be able to lose 2 or 3 more games while the Spurs would have to drop 7+. I just don't see it happening outside of a total injury meltdown by the Spurs.

I will bet you $100 that if the Rockets make the playoffs, they win at least one game. That would be doing "something."

Lets see if you back up your idiotic drivel or if you try to spin this one around.

Losing counts as "something" too. We need more clarity folks.

The Mavs are not catching the Spurs. The race of interest for Mavs fans is between the Lakers and Mavs.

And from what I see on playoffstatus.com, the Lakers have the 3rd toughest schedule remaining (WC teams), with the Spurs and Mavs having the 5th & 6th.

a spurs-rockets series wouldn't go further than 5 games, but i do see the rockets giving a hard fight and spurs winning some close games
