No place for that kind of foul. Threw the shoulder into an exposed player then followed through with the elbow. Dirty, dangerous, and not in any way a play on the ball.

good suspension.

kudos to bynum for showing some fire. in case you haven't noticed, the lakers are the best team in the nba right now, winning 9 out of their last 10. and doing it convincingly, on the road, against other playoff teams.

bynum's playing like a champ. and the lakers are fired up. not bored anymore.

that foul woulda been pretty ho-hum in one of the old school pistons/celtics series of the 80s or heat/knicks in the 90s

the offensive player assumes a risk when he jumps to dunk a ball and make a highlight-reel play. If a hard foul is assessed by the defender and he gets hurt, so be it

Kudos to Kevin Love for being the leader of that team and stepping up to defend Beasley by standing behind him, frightened.

I'm trying to think of a playoff race team that would allow one of their better players to get cheap shottedlike that and not at least fake tough guy retaliation or anger.


Non-related: I wonder where Beasley will end with his NBA career?

Bill Laimbeer did that and worse on a daily basis...big deal.

Besides, Bruce Bowen was perhaps the biggest piece of crap to ever play in the NBA, and you guys fill a pool with baby batter every time you think about him.

He didn't even make a play on the ball. He turned sideways and threw his shoulder into Beasley's chest. It's the kind of move you expect to see a S make on a WR coming over the middle.

I wanted to bump this up in case someone wanted to applaud Bynum for being a lazy cheap shot artist again.

When the going get tough, Bynum delivers an elbow cheap shot to airborne players.
