The Pacers have been playing very poorly as of late.. The Bucks are finally healthy and the B-Jennings/Bogut/Salmons trio is finally playing like last season, I'd slide the Bucks into the 8th seed and a hard out for whoever plays them in the first round.

Well it's impossible for the lakers to pass the spurs if the spurs win out. In that sense, the spurs control their own destiny.

But from what I understand, if the lakers win out (meaning they beat the spurs), they will have the tiebreaker over the spurs. So i guess so.

OK, now with the Nuggets over Lakers, the Spurs are back in control, and the Lakers need help to gain the top spot.

Very unlikely that LA loses the 2 since the Spurs will probably tank this game and I doubt they lose to Sacramento. They also own the tie-breaker vs DAL and OKC.

Doubt Dallas finishes less then 3 because they only have New Orleans left who has already tanked for that 8 spot (they want S.A) OKC Will also win there remaining game but stay 4.

Like stated above, N.O has already started to tank so they will lose to Dallas putting them 8 UNLESS Memphis loses its next 2 games against POR and LAC which would put them at 8 since N.O owns the tie-breaker against Mem.

MEM could also have potential to finish 6 if they were to beat the Blazers tonight in Portland.

Grizzlies sitting Zach Randolph and Tony Allen tonight against Portland, at least not starting them.

I think the Grizz will end up in the 8th spot now. OJ Mayo just sprained his ankle.

Lakers and Mavs have locked up the 2 and 3 seeds since they both own the tiebreaker over OKC.

Chuck: Nuggets would easily beat the Spurs in a series.

Lakers/Mavs are guaranteed 2/3, or they can flip.

That was changed a few years ago, I thought. Division winners are guaranteed a top 4 seed, but that's it.

If that's not the case, it really should be. Head-to-head should supersede division winners, imo.

Nevermind. Brain fart. I kept thinking the Mavs would have the better record. Even though I knew they'd be tied.
