Well, the Lakers-Bulls Finals should be fun.

2 months ago I thought almost any of the West playoff teams could win the conference. Unless something severe happens, it's the Lakers' to lose. They're peaking at the right time, and are healthy.

Spurs are limping toward the finish line. Mavs can't beat LA in a 7 game series; maybe they could shoot their way to 1 or 2 wins. The other playoff teams have talent, but LA's bigs will dominate all of them.

Chicago is also peaking at the right time. The Heat are inconsistent. Boston has a chance, but I think it's the Bulls' to lose.

Rose and the Bulls will win a title, but not this year. LA wins in 6.

While I agree the Lakers are a virtual lock, not so sure about the Bulls. There are 4 very good teams in the east. Round #s 2 and 3 are going to be tough and physical.

Not sure the Bulls are the "toughest" team.

Kobe can't win No. 6 in Chicago. It wouldn't be right.

I still think it's LA and Miami... the Heat have struggled individually against top teams, but they've also put a target on their on back. A 7 game series is a whole different ball game and I have a feeling that nobody is going to want to mess with that team in a 7 game series. Possibly Orlando since Dwight Howard creates such matchup problems. Ealier in the year, I even mentioned the Bulls coming out of the East. I like their team a lot... great chemistry, great coach, and great talent. But when I watch them, I get the overwhelming feeling that they are a year away still. And I'll be the first to admit this is based on nothing tangible or factual, but more of a hunch.
