5 years is usually a good sample size for examining a draft. The 06 draft was the first "modern" draft in that this was the first draft affected by the 19 year old age limit.
Lets redraft this lottery.
Just draft the best available player.
To see who got picked:

A 1st pick will get 14 points
A 2nd will get 13
and so on until the 14th pick gets one point.
After a few days I guess we can average out the scores and see what we all think.
Here's mine
1. LeMarcus Alridge
2. Rudy Gay
3. Rajon Rondo
4. Brandon Roy
5. Paul Millsap
6. Andrea Bargnani
7. Kyle Lowry
8. Shannon Brown
9. Ronnie Brewer
10. Leon Powe
11. Thabo Sefolosha
12. Randy Roye
13. Tyrus Thomas
14. JJ Reddick
