Finished 10/11 overall. Unfrigginbelievable.

He set the record for most 3 pointers without a miss. If he hadn't shot his last one (a heave at the end of the 3rd quarter), he would have had the most 3 pointers in a game without a miss (the 1st record was opening up a game with x number of 3 pointers without a miss... a small difference but whatever).

I'm not sure if that was the most 3 pointers in a row, but I think it was. My google search turned up a game in which Kobe made 9 in a row.

Anyway, it doesn't change the playoff race or anything, but for anybody that's a fan of stats and records, it was an interesting game.

2 important points
At the start of the vid, there are ~4 minutes left in the second and the score is 48-42 Denver. At the end of the vid, there's ~1 minute left in the 3rd (so 15 minutes of game passed) and the score is 100-66 Denver. So Denver went on a 52-18 run over 15 minutes and turned a moderately close game into a total laugher.

Ty Lawson was stupidly open for some of those shots. I don't see how you simply "forget" about a guy who's 5/5 from 3 point land over the course of 5-6 minutes. Or, God forbid, a guy who's 8 for 8. I mean crap, after the first 3-4 shots (which all occurred in a very compressed time window), you tell somebody to be in his face all the freaking time. Why he didn't have somebody on him like velcro by the time his last few shots rolled around is a complete mystery.

I guess that's why the twolves are 17-63 despite having a guy who goes for ~22 & 16 every night.

Great shooting, but come on, you single him out and don't leave him alone, he is nailing you 3 points at a time.

I was at a Mavericks game when George McLeod went bananas. He wasn't as accurate as Lawson, but it was awesome. I think he set the NBA record for 3pters in half or quarter.

Luke Ridnour was late on majority of those shots - he looked ridiculous . . .

I was at the Western conference finals when Steve Kerr lit-up the Mavs in game 6.... Mavericks where up by 13 going into the 4th (as I recall) and SK hit at least 5 (or it felt like that many)....

Does anyone know?

Kerr hit 4 three pointers in that game.

A couple of those from Lawson were just thrown up off-balance. Pretty impressive to watch. I still remember when this guy threw up six in the first half:
