according to simply retarded, the spurs won't make it out of the first round. except he won't bet on it. unless it is the spread. in august. during a full moon. while eating oreo's. or something.

Those numbers look about right to me, although I'm a little worried about the Spurs. Memphis has played them to a draw this year, including a couple of beat-downs in Memphis. The combination of Gasol and Randolph really takes advantage of the Spurs smaller size down low, and Memphis rebounds really well. Rebounding teams seem to do well against the Spurs.

Not saying they'll lose by any stretch, but it could be a lot closer series than people are thinking. I won't be shocked if it goes all 7.

Playing Memphis is unlikely. NOLA is in the 8 spot right now, a game behind in the loss column of memphis. They also play the Mavs in Dallas on Wed. for their last game. I'd much rather play NOLA than Memphis even if Monty Wiliams is very familiar with our system.

Didn't realize they had switched places. That's the best draw in the playoffs since David West is injured.

Spurs might be able to pull that off in 5 games or less.

Nola is definitely the best draw for the Spurs in round 1. Now Mavs/OKC in round 2 is a bit blurrier. Like I mentioned in some other thread, right now I'd take the Mavs.
