Can the old guard keep pumping out the awards? Duncan and Kobe still have a shot at catching Kareem for most all-time All-NBA selections. Kobe is a shoe-in this year, and he might tie Duncan in 1st team selections. Duncan will probably get voted in at 2nd/3rd team center.

The first team is set in stone.

The third team is where it gets murky. Blake Griffin, LaMarcus Aldridge, Kevin Love, Rajon Rondo, Carmelo Anthony can all easily displace some of those listed. Should be interesting.

why are y'all saying Kobe over DWade is set in stone?

Is it because you think there's no way the media doesn't drop Kobe to 2nd team, or because you think Kobe had a much better year...because the latter isn't the case.

However, if it's the former...then I tend to agree, but I wouldn't count DWade out just yet.

Don't think Duncan will make it this year.

I think it's exactly because the media wouldn't dare put the Black Mamba on the 2nd team.

You are probably right about Wade, though. Admittedly, I watched very little Eastern basketball this year, and even less Miami Heat (out of principle)

I would think Manu has a good shot of getting on the list this year on the 2nd or 3rd team. Duncan is in danger of not making it for the first time in his career but I think he will squeeze onto the 3rd Team.
