I know its weird to say this after his history, but there is no way you can watch the Mavs and look at the stats and not come to the conclusion that Dirk is the most clutch player in the nba RIGHT NOW.

Dirk has completely reinvented himself starting with the Kidd trade in 08. He has embraced his role on the team and plays with supreme confidence now and with an edge. How the **** did he make that left handed flip shot? This series isn't over though, but I'm not worried about Dirk. Somehow we're getting clutch play from spares like Barea and Peja and Jet and Kidd are actually performing so far.

The Lakers have tried every way to defend Dirk in this series. This 32 year old version of Dirk is the best ever. It's evident that his game has evolved to a point where he has no weaknesses. He has been incredible.

The way Dirk plays gives him the chance to remain at a high level and even get better with age.
