I don't know anything about him and hadn't really watched him all year until this series. I knew he was pretty good and didn't like him when he was a longhorn but in his interviews he seems like a nice guy. Anybody know what kind of a guy he is?

I would assume that as long as they're building the team and keeping it competitive that he'll stay. he just signed an extension for 5 years, so he seems to be pretty loyal to the org. reminds me of duncan in SA. finding a stable franchise that will build smartly around you is probably worth more than just about anything else (especially when they can continue to pay you what you're worth on the open market).

He seems to be a pretty solid guy.

I don't understand why he wears a backpack to post game press conferences.

durant is everything the NBA could hope for, on and off the court. humble, hardworking, energetic, down-to-earth, driven, authentic and uber-talented. beat lebron/wade in the finals this year (yeah, i can dream, can't i?) and he becomes the face of the NBA for the next decade.

only legit flaw i can find is his taste in colleges.

He is a lot like Tracy Jordan, only as a basketball player, not an actor.

He seems like a really good, genuine person. He definitely doesnt have the typical supertstar personality, he is pretty down to earth.

I know he's a sip, but I like him. Seems like a very down to earth guy...

From what I understand (and this is from all of my relatives in OkC) he is one hell of a decent guy. He likes OkC and is happy there. He's really one of the few seriously decent people like that in professional sports today and is a breath of fresh air if you ask me. He could go to any other team and I'd say the same about him too. I'm impressed with not only the player, but the person.

I damn near put his dunk as my computer background until I remembered he went that school in Austin.

I actually root for okc because if him. It's a shame he wasted his talent in college.

I remeber hearing a interview with Texas players saying that when Durant would come in town he would sleep on the floor or couch sometimes and you would never know he was a star NBA player
