In hindsight, I like how the Mavs handled it better than what I would have done, which is punch D-Wade in the face after he stood there by the bench after hitting that 3.

The Mavs got 10 stops in 11 trips during their run to tie it. They also scored 10 times in 11 trips on the offensive end.

I was calling for a hard foul and I'm glad they didn't.

But... I'll bet if the Mavericks didn't start closing the gap, somebody was gonna put Wade on his ass. Part of it would be vengeance. Part of it would be to help win game 3.

It was even better to beat them this way. Wade acts like a punk and Mavs go on run.

I'm not a huge NBA fan and, while I tend to side with Texas teams in sports, I don't really care who wins the championship.

That said, I'll usually give some attention to the game. I was watching while it was close and when Miami started to pull ahead I went on to something else assuming it was over. Kinda glad they came back. Keeps it exciting and I wouldn't mind seeing Dirk get a ring.

Last night was beautiful. I have never seen a team full of such cocky ass showboaters as the Heat. Screaming in the camera after EVERY good play. Can't stand them.

Don't think it was LeBron's fault. Haslem didn't rotate quick enough. Dirk had to cover the easy dump and open shot on the left.

Haslem should have rotated over then Wade down to prevent the oop to Chandler.

You can't fault Lebron. Jason Terry was sitting in his sweet spot. If Lebron cheats on Dirk early, he could dish it to Terry.

Not as good as Dirk layup. But if the you're tied and last second shot is always wide open Jet in one of his sweet spots, Mavs will take it.

That last defensive possession for the Heat is still mind-boggling to me. All we've heard for two weeks is how Lebron is the greatest defender in the world. If you're not going to double team, why not mark up on Dirk with your best defender? Everybody in the world knew who was going to take the final shot.

Chandler had a body on Haslem, preventing him from rotating over to Dirk earlier. Previous play Chandler set the screen for Dirk's 3 pointer. Great finish by Chandler on both those plays.

Yeah, if Lebron is on Dirk, I don't think Dirk can drive to the basket. But, he could have dished to Terry, who would easily get past Bosh(?), assuming he'd be on him.

Why the hell did the Heat not foul?? Given, you send Dirk to the line he will drain both shots, but at least you have a little more than just 3 seconds to get a better shot off than the 40 footer Wade was forced to take. Very poor defense there at the end by the Heat.
