I didn't even get to see the game until the final 1:30. I saw enough pathetic plays during those 90 seconds to tick me off. Needless to say, when I found out the stupidity of play over the final 8 minutes that put me over the top.

So out of a timeout in the final minute, Wade shoots a fade away 3 pointer while falling to his left. There was what, 15 seconds left on the shot clock. I'm assuming this must have been the play that was called in order for him to shoot that shot with that much time left. And then, am I just an idiot or why the friggin crap was Lebron not guarding Dirk on the final play? 98% chance Dirk is taking the final shot, and yet you guard him with Bosh? Put Lebron on him and he has 0% chance at driving the lane on that play. He's forced to take a 20-foot fade away, which yes he is sick at, but hell of a lot better than a layup. I'm so fed up with the bullcrap coaching in the final minutes of every friggin game by any team playing the Mavs.

That's my rant.

Some serious butthurt going on here.

How hard is it to give credit where credit is due?

Right he just does his euro-pump fakes sending over-aggressive Lebron in the air so he draws the obvious foul or leans back and shoots a jumper that for him is a better percentage than a lefty layup

Geez Dude. That game was all about heart. Dallas never gives up. They've done it time and time again in the playoffs this year. Sorry you don't like the outcome. Even if you dont like the outcome you have to respect the outcome.

Where they screwed up was not doubling Dirk. It doesn't matter if Lebron or Bosh is on him- you make him pass out of the double with 5-8 seconds or so left and take your chances. Nobody can guard Dirk one on one consistently.

What's worse is Miami had a foul to give. Bosh could have fouled Dirk hard and Dallas would have had to take the ball out again. No timeouts left for either team at that point, I think.

Dallas forced a chicken bone into the Heat's throat, that's what actually happened.

Heat just flat out gave one away tonight. Trying to just play one-on-one, with no semblance of offense, and double teams on defense that made no sense. They may need to put Riley on the bench for the rest of the series to "guide" Spoelstra.

And that was a NFL worthy hold by Chambers on Dirks 3.

actually, the heat lost because they slowed down the pace to milk the clock after the furious run. the mavs can play the heat all night long in a half court game but are not very good at defending in the transition. the heat played right into the mavs strength, but i guess spoelstra thought they had a sizable enough lead. once the momentum increased, it was all over for the heat.

I don't watch NBA games unless my Mavs are playing Harry, we should discuss your obsession with pro sports back on rivalries.

Saying the heat gave it away is pretty stupid considering the Mavs overcame some ridiculous officiating

do you ever stop. i like sports in general, pro or college or high school. i just don't get all up in arms over pro sports like you, which has been documented by many posters on this board. your obsession with pro sports is ****ing scary dude. i watch all the games for the entertainment, not just one team. that's your problem right there.

you would get a lot more entertainment if you liked one team, and they were doing well

like we do

I don't care what anyone says, bottom line is Dirk is the greatest closer in the game right now and there's nothing you could do to stop him.

That was a CHOKE job of epic proportions. To claim otherwise is silly. BUT, the Mavs poured in 20 points in the last 6 min, and they weren't easy points either.

The Heat have 0 excuse for losing that game, but the Mavs played awesome down the stretch.
Judge

Certainly a choke job by the Heat.

But choking doesn't make the other team hit baskets. Dirk is absolute money and when the game is on the line he comes alive like nobody in the league. Both Dirk and JET were largely quiet for most of the game, but stepped up in that run. Kidd had another huge 3 pointer. Marion had another great game.

This is going to be a great series no matter who you root for.
