Don't have a link. But it was pretty tame. Not nearly as big a deal as the media is making it.

Very similar to the Durant/Westbrook celebration last series in game 4. And both after 3s to put them up 15 (I believe). Crazy.

Wade obviously over-celebrates in front of the bench, then Lebron like a dumbass goes over to him right in front of the bench. Terry realizes what's going on and walks toward them but stops.

Doesn't matter how much the media hypes it up because at least 3 Mavs players that were in the bench area mentioned it as a motivating factor. Whatever works.

Is it just me, I don't see that as a big celebration.

at the time it happened, i was steaming.. i turned to my wife (6+ month pregnant wife who is still up watching with me on the east coast!) and i say 'see, that is part of why they are hated..'. that said, i didn't think the celebration was over the top. the ONLY offense that could have been taken was the fact that he held it so long in front of the bench. they kept showing the replay and you can just see DeShawn looking up at him, rolling his eyes like, 'mmm hmmm, we'll see..' great game.. MFFL!

Hit a 3 to go up by 15 and I expect a celebration. That said, it did seem to be more of a taunt than a celebration, and that's what I'd have an issue with.

Celebrating is fine but they, especially Lebron, always over-celebrate. He's trying to be a showman or something. He's just a clown and not that smart.

You get a rep as a whiner and every complaint is whining.

You get a rep as a good defender and every reach or body block is good defense.

You get a rep as a flopper and every time you hit the floor you are flopping.

For the Miami Heat, once you get a reputation as a showboat, every celebration is you being a showboat.

For better or worse, they are under more scrutiny when it comes to **** like this after The Decision, the "we're going to win 7" speech, the celebration after beating Boston, screaming like animals for photo ops after every play, etc.

They have been branded. They should expect it, now.

I don't think LBJ or Wade were acting any more a-holish than most of the league by doing what they did. If I was on the court like Terry, I definitely would have taken offense, and I would have used that as a little bit of BB material. That being said, I do think it's indicative of where their heads are at similar to Durant putting on Aaron Rogers' belt. They were laughing and having a good time. They were not being serious, and they were coasting. They thought they had it in the bag. You could tell Wade was trying to be serious walking back until LBJ starting clowning and then they both broke in to smiles.

They paid for it.

What's funny about all this is that Wade's celebration was really in response to Terry's yapping. Terry had been up in Wade's **** for a couple of minutes and Dwyane apparently had enough of it. At the time I thought that Terry was hurting the Mavs by pissing off the Heat's best player. Of course then Wade managed to pull off a total karma flip with his posing.
