mahinimi isnt really all that bad... he had a couple of good regular season outings

It's funny how fast an NBA roster can change in two years. Mavs fans would have been ready to give Mahinmi the mid-level exception prior to TC and Haywood.

I think the key to Mahinmi will be if he can stay out of foul trouble. He's had a few games this year where it seems like he's gotten five fouls in less than five minutes.

Mahinmi doesn't have to be special. Mavs just need him to need be awful. Haywood only played 8 minutes in Game 2. Mavs went small for awhile and Cardinal played some. But if Mahinmi can survive 10 minutes without killing the team, then he's done his job.

That assumes that Chandler can stay out of foul trouble. I expect the Heat to drive on every possession, especially if Haywood can't play.
