If Miami wins, Wade will get the MVP. I still have a little glimmer of faith left that the Mavericks can win this thing, but that's probably just my battered wife syndrome talking.

Wade has been amazing..... I hate his acting though.... it makes me hate him even more.

I agree, he deserves the MVP if Dirk does not get it (and he won't)

Certainly would solidify this assessment

Wade deserves it if they win. Don't get me wrong, dirk is playing like the #1 player in the nba, but his team doesn't matchup favorably with the heat, and wade is playing like so well that they'll give it to the best player on the winning team even if Dirk has better numbers. Dirk deserves to win a title but I don't think his supporting cast is good enough, I mean they are beyond serviceable (kidd, jet2, jj "tha pest" barea) but when u break it down they are mostly over the hill stars/players that don't perform well in crunch time. When u compare that to a top 5 player like lebron (haters gonna hate but u rly can't dispute it) and a decent semi young star like bosh and to top it off u have mutombo-like Joel Anthony and guys like haslem, miller, and chalmers, it's pretty clear Miami has the edge talent-wise.

Dirk does not have better numbers 3 games in.

I really don't want to see Lebron get a ring, but if he does, it's going to be hilarious if he doesn't win the Finals MVP

Was it hilarious in the Eastern Conference Finals when Wade was a noshow and Lebron carried the team?

All the Lebron hate is silly. I didn't care for "the decision" either, but Lebron is clearly the best everyday player in the game.

Doesn't mean squat if you don't do it in the Finals.

Lebron James numbers:

PPG/RPG/APG/FG%/3p%
Career: 27.7/7.1/7.0/0.479/0.329
07 Finals: 22.0/7.0/6.8/0.356/0.200
11 Finals: 20.3/6.7/6.0/0.511/0.438

Lebrons points, rebounds and assists have all dropped in two Finals series whereas his shooting has remained more/less the same.

We all know Wade's numbers in the Finals (also in two series now) have been ridiculous.

Great "everyday" player is fine to have on your roster but you also need the "killer" when you really need to win a game. Wade is that guy.
