Why do people care if Lebron gets bashed? It's just sports. He should be thankful anyone cares about him at all. What is almost making me as mad as anything about him is the moping around and demands from some that he be loved.

If he couldn't see that this move would lead to people rooting against him he's too dumb to be pitied. No one wants to cheer for players that rigged the system this way.

Seriously, this kid is stinking rich, a stud professional athlete and pretty much has the world at his feet....why the need to worry if anyone talks **** about him? He'll be okay, people. Don't freak out just because the fans of his opponent dog him when he underperforms. Which he genuinely has late in these very close games.

For the billionth time. It's not that he left, it's the way he left. The pep rally. The interview. He is getting what he deserves.

The man gets paid obscene millions upon millions to play a game that he's loved since he was a little kid. If someone told you they'd pay you millions to play your favorite game forever, but some people in the country would hate you, you'd trip over yourself in your hurry to sign the papers. As a sports fan who helps subsidize the players' salaries by purchasing tickets and directing my TV ratings, I reserve the right to hate any player or team I want for as arbitrary a reason as I choose.

If I choose to hate Jason Terry because I think he can read my mind through the TV, well that's my right and he can just dry his tears with wads of hundred dollar bills...

Lebron did something unusual. He couldn't win on his own so he ran off taking a paycut to join two allstars to get a ring. Making that the most important thin--more important than the journey. I don't respect that and I don't like how he did it. It's just sports. I don't need a better reason to dislike him than that. Its good enough. It should e good enough for him that I'm watching. Enough demanding to be loved and demanding that when I think of him I thinlk greatest ever.

Yes for the sole fact that they say these things but choose to leave out the ESPN approach him to do it, and then offered 2.5MM, and then he turned around and donated all that money to the boys and girls club.
