I know all the injury talks tonight are going to be about Wade, but one player overlooked in the injury talk is Brendan Haywood. Although Ian Mahinmi and Brian Cardinal have brought energy from the bench, the Heat will take advantage of them tonight if Haywood cannot play.
In game five, the Heat almost made a great comeback in the 4th quarter executing the pick and roll as Halsem and Bosh were able to make consecutive uncontested layups. Expect Spoelstra and the Heat to go back to this often, especially when Chandler is on the bench. Haywood brings the defensive toughness and veteren experience to keep the Heat out of the lane and defend the pick and roll.
I am not saying that Haywood playing will determine the outcome of the game, but any advantage in these close games, no matter how slight, can have significant impact on the outcome of game six and the series. If able to play tonight, Haywood can have that impact and help the Mavs finish off the hated Heat.
