Damp was the backup center (behind Desagana Diop LOL) when the Mavs lost to the Heat in 06..... He is now a reserve for the Heat, who at times during their playoff run didn't even dress out.

I thought the end of that sentence would be "the announcers". They fellated the Heat from start to finish.

But seroiusly, it is not a coincidence that the Mavs finally get a real, athletic center that can play a little and finally get over the hump.

Good point....Center was definitely the weakest point of the past mavericks teams. There is absolutely no way the Mavs win this series without Chandler. Like I said.... DIOP was the STARTING CENTER for those teams.
