The author, Vishnu Parasuraman, is a good friend of mine. He grew up in College Station and moved to Miami before high school. His dad used to be a prof at A&M and is now a prof at the University of Miami.

As far the article, I thought it was a really interesting read and I agree with his premise that the owners are standing firm out of indifference/spite.

Good article. I like seeing the numbers and stats as it makes it easier to understand for me as an engineer. If his primes is correct, how soon until the players break? If they arent careful, the owners are going to can the entire season and the players won't make a dollar this year.

It wouldn't hurt my feelings if the NBA suspends play for the entire year.

Players will cave, have no choice. Simply a matter of time. And I second, dont care if the whole season is gone.
