18 games against the opposing conference, so there are three of those teams that you play twice.

From a Rockets fan perspective, Houston got hosed as far as marquee home games...no Orlando, Miami, Boston or Chicago at home.

Lakers at home once, twice away.
Mavericks at home once, twice away.

The Eastern teams that Houston plays twice are Toronto, Charlotte and Washington.

Positives:

* The East teams that the Rockets play twice should be good opportunities for wins.

* Only one back-to-back-to-back and it is the first week of the season (December 29-30-31) with two of the three at home.

Spurs have two back-to-back-to-backs.

As a Rockets fan, I'm happy. I just want wins any way that I can get them. I'm not too concerned with marquee games that much anymore.

If you had asked me about having marquee games when we had Hakeem and Clyde, I would have had a completely different answer. Being mediocre isn't very fun

I believe that in the SW, Dallas and Memphis only play 3 times, as do Houston and Hornets. Spurs play all SW teams 4 times. (Could be completely wrong on that)

For the Grizzlies, I'm disappointed to not see the Heat, nor Celtics, and the Lakers only once.

Anyone heard about when single game tickets go on sale? Esp for rockets/spurs

Spurs also have 17 back to backs (This accounts for more than half of the season's games), in addition to the 2 back-to-back-to-backs. Also, they are only one of seven teams that will have 5 games in 6 nights. This is definitely not '99.

There are 2 occasions on the Rockets schedule where we play back-to-back home and away with the same team: the Thunder (@OKC Jan 6, vs. OKC in Houston Jan 7) and the Nuggets (@DEN Apr 15, vs. DEN in Houston Apr 16).

LAL and OKC twice at home is all the Rockets get? WTF.
