Depending on how the CP3 talks go, the Clippers would be foolish to not match that offer. You don't run the risk of pissing Blake Griffin off if you're LAC.

Agree. If Clips get serious with CP3 they'll match it.

I really hope the Clippers match it (which I think they will). I would think the whole "being friends with Blake Griffin" implies that Blake has no problem lighting a fire under DeAndre's ass and will make him a better player over his career than he might be going to a team that (traditionally, don't know with new owners/new coach) doesn't always get the most out of their players.

I think it's in both sides best interests if he remains a Clipper.
